What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Provide a high level of customer service and support to clients and attorneys.
• Production: Consistently produce an excellent legal work product.
• Knowledge: Maintain general knowledge of Litigation practice groups and develop specialized knowledge of assigned attorneys’ practice areas and clients.
• Documentation: Prepare essential legal documents, including subpoenas, medical chronologies, document productions, and trial exhibits.
• Billing: Work with and track billable hours for client matters.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with a college degree. This role requires a strong foundation in insurance defense and specific experience in premises liability, commercial litigation, construction litigation, automobile negligence, products liability, or wrongful death matters.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in insurance defense is required. Candidates should possess 1-2 years of hands-on experience preparing legal documents such as subpoenas, medical chronologies, document productions, and trial exhibits, as well as working with billable hours.
• Skills: Attention to detail and strong organizational and analytical skills are essential. Candidates must be able to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong writing, oral communication, and excellent research abilities are also required, alongside a demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bonus: Prior experience with entering billable hours.
