Pre-Litigation Paralegal | Synectics Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote position with Synectics Inc., supporting their client’s expanding operations within Illinois. As a Pre-Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing a high-volume caseload of personal injury cases from inception through to settlement. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring client cases progress efficiently, maintaining clear communication, and thoroughly developing files, which is vital for the growth and success of the Illinois office.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Oversee and actively manage a high-volume pre-litigation personal injury caseload, diligently working to advance each case toward a successful settlement.
• Stakeholder Communication: Engage in consistent and clear communication with clients to provide updates, collaborate with insurance adjusters, and coordinate effectively with medical providers to gather necessary information.
• Documentation & Tracking: Methodically order, review, and organize all medical records, bills, and supporting documentation, while meticulously tracking ongoing treatment progress for each case.
• Demand Package Preparation: Provide essential assistance in the preparation of comprehensive demand packages, ensuring that all client files are thoroughly and completely developed prior to submission.
• System & Record Keeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date case notes, diligently track all critical deadlines, schedule necessary follow-ups, and manage assigned tasks to guarantee that no details are overlooked and cases remain on schedule.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A seasoned professional with at least 3 years of dedicated experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal or Case Manager, possessing strong, in-depth knowledge of the Illinois personal injury pre-litigation process.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience specifically in a personal injury paralegal or case manager role, demonstrating a proven ability to handle complex pre-litigation demands.
• Skills: Required bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base; exceptional capability to independently manage a high-volume caseload, characterized by robust organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and consistent follow-through; excellent client-facing and internal communication skills are essential for successful collaboration.
• Bonus: Prior experience utilizing Aderant or other comparable case management systems would be considered a significant advantage.
