VP, EU Cash & Liquidity Management Sales – Japanese Corporates | Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group

• Team: Transaction Banking EMEA Department, part of Global Transaction Banking Division.
• Mission: Drive the growth of Cash & Liquidity Management business across Europe by managing relationships with EU-based Japanese multinational corporations.
• Tech Stack: SWIFT connectivity, Host-to-host connectivity, ISO 20022, APIs, electronic banking platforms, 3rd party digital channels.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Development: Develop and execute a sales strategy for Cash & Liquidity Management solutions targeting Japanese multinational corporations across Europe.
• Client Coverage: Act as the primary Transaction Banking specialist for assigned Japanese corporate clients, understanding their treasury, liquidity, working capital, and payment requirements.
• Solution Sales: Promote the bank’s Cash & Liquidity Management products, including domestic and cross-border payments, liquidity structures, and digital treasury solutions.
• Revenue Growth: Drive sustainable growth in deposits, cash management revenues, fee income, and transaction volumes for the business.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with treasury teams and key decision makers, deepening existing client relationships.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business, or a related discipline, with a focus on Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Treasury Services, or Corporate Banking.
• Experience: At least 6-7 years of experience in Transaction Banking, Cash Management, Treasury Services, or Corporate Banking, with a proven track record of originating new business and achieving sales targets.
• Skills: Excellent presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; strong understanding of Cash Management, Liquidity Management, Payments and Collections, Treasury Operations, SEPA, cross-border payments, SWIFT, Host-to-host connectivity, ISO 20022, APIs, digital treasury solutions, deposit, short-term investment products, Trade Finance, and working capital solutions; native or business-level Japanese and fluent English.
• Bonus: Demonstrated experience covering Japanese multinational corporations; additional European language(s).
