Utilities Project Manager | Ernst and Young

The Tone:
This is a full-time hybrid role at Ernst and Young, located in Katowice, Poland. EY GDS Poland is a member of a global integrated service delivery center network. This role is crucial for supporting clients through business and organizational transformation journeys, managing complex projects, and becoming a trusted advisor in project management subject matters.

• Type: Hybrid, 2 days office/3 days remote

• Mission: This role is responsible for overseeing utilities projects from definition to delivery, ensuring client requirements, budgets, and milestones are met, and advising clients on project management.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Share Point, JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, other project management tools

What You’ll Actually Do
• Define Scope: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage Projects: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, overseeing accurate tracking and reporting of project progress.
• Mitigate Risks: Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing necessary mitigation strategies.
• Communicate Progress: Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
• Advise Clients: Support clients through business and organizational transformations, acting as a trusted advisor in project management for both clients and EY colleagues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A higher education degree, preferably in business, technology, or an equivalent field. This role requires a Project Manager level professional with at least five years of experience, specializing in project management within the utilities sector (specifically water or electricity) and the IT industry.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Management; experience in the Utilities sector, specifically in water or electricity; experience working in the IT industry; ability and willingness to travel, with frequent travel to Ireland.
• Skills: Excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken); knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Project, MS Share Point, JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, and other project management tools.
• Bonus: One or more industry certifications such as Prince 2, PMP, Agile PM, or ITIL.
