Investment Banking Analyst II Corporate Finance – ReGLL | Citizens

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Citizens. Citizens is a rapidly growing investment banking platform known for its market-leading positions in middle market corporate and financial sponsor-backed transactions. This position is critical for supporting senior professionals in client development, originating, structuring, and executing various capital markets and M&A transactions. The role offers the opportunity to gain deep insight into strategic, financial, and capital decision-making for growing middle market companies.

• Mission: Support the origination and execution of debt capital markets, equity capital markets, and M&A transactions for corporate clients and financial sponsors.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Support senior professionals in client development and manage significant transaction involvement.
• Model: Model extensive financial statements for diverse transaction scenarios.
• Research: Conduct comprehensive company and industry research, maintaining key industry datasets.
• Prepare: Prepare pitch materials and thoughtful overviews for client meetings and investment opportunities.
• Lead: Lead the transaction execution process, including due diligence and preparing marketing materials.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree with a strong academic record; solid understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and company/industry analysis.
• Experience: 1 year of related experience in M&A, Corporate Finance, Industry Coverage, Leveraged Finance / Capital Markets, Equity Research, or Buyside Equities; preferred experience in Gaming, Leisure & Lodging.
• Skills: Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis; effective oral and written communication; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Bonus: MBA not required but a plus; attendance in a formal investment or corporate banking training program preferred; for the Associate role, FINRA Series 79 (or 7) and Series 63 required.
