The Tone:

This Vice President position is a pivotal role within the Industrials Investment Banking team, essential for driving the growth and success of the business by independently managing clients and complex transactions. The role requires a strong understanding of financial products, the marketplace, and client relationships, particularly within industrial services.

• Pay: $185000–$300000 yearly

• Mission: Independently lead complex client transactions and drive the origination, structuring, and execution of a full range of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Management: Independently work with clients and manage complex transactions within the industrials sector, leveraging well-developed knowledge of products, services, and the marketplace.
• Transaction Origination: Be directly involved in the origination, structuring, and execution of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services for existing clients and prospects.
• Strategic Advisory: Formulate financial strategy and policy with clients at the executive management level, assisting in the delivery of a full range of products and services.
• Deal Execution: Execute mandated assignments across public and private equity, M&A, loan, high yield, and convertible securities transactions.
• Project Coordination: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail, demonstrating an ability to master complex material.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Investment Banking, with well-developed knowledge of products, services, and the marketplace, ideally with familiarity of clients within industrial services.
• Experience: 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent, along with a strong track record of originating and executing M&A and capital markets transactions.
• Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, precise attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bonus: Experience in the Industrials industry, ability to lead junior staff, highly developed writing skills, and knowledge and understanding of business development (business vision, strategies, and goals).
