The Managing Director drives key initiatives in M&A, divestitures, and business succession, ensuring high-quality client outcomes.

• Mission: To provide creative solutions and engage clients effectively, leading and assisting with structuring, negotiations, and transactional pipeline management for business succession, M&A, and divestitures.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Analysis & Financial Modeling: Analyzes leads for possible business succession, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and divestitures by performing detailed profile analysis and financial modeling.
• Client Material Creation: Creates comprehensive client experience materials to assist in all pitch proposals and new engagement processes.
• Client Sourcing & CRM Management: Sources and identifies potential new clients, actively maintaining and managing the customer relationship management pipeline.
• Engagement Term Negotiation: Builds quantitative analysis and modeling to assist in negotiating the terms of engagement letters, including intricate fee structures.
• Due Diligence Oversight: Conducts thorough due diligence activities related to ongoing pipeline projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree with a strong financial/accounting background, showing an in-depth understanding of investment banking and wealth management concepts and principles.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management, or Business Succession is preferred.
• Skills: High-level communication and negotiation skills, strong leadership abilities with a capacity to develop and mentor others, and robust financial modeling and mathematical skills.
• Bonus: A Master’s degree is preferred, along with excellent research skills and the ability to identify and seek needed information.
