What You’ll Actually Do
• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
• Client Engagement: Observe and actively participate in significant legal proceedings, including client meetings, closings, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Problem Solving: Collaborate with the legal team to analyze complex legal issues and develop strategic, actionable solutions for clients.
• Case Management: Engage in various aspects of legal practice such as case management, comprehensive document review, due diligence processes, and trial preparation.
• Client Service: Contribute to client service initiatives, gaining valuable exposure to client relationship management practices within the firm.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment as a 2L law student with a strong academic record, demonstrating a keen interest in business law and litigation. Candidates should be driven to add significant value to client businesses and seek early opportunities for leadership within their chosen practice areas.
• Experience: Prior experience or a strong desire for direct engagement with clients, adversaries, and courts, aiming to gain substantial practical exposure without waiting 5-10 years. This role offers opportunities in litigation, transactional, operational, or regulatory work representing businesses.
• Skills: Strong legal research, clear legal writing, excellent communication, robust analytical capabilities, and effective problem-solving skills. Candidates must also possess the ability to thrive in a demanding yet supportive environment focused on professional development.
