What You’ll Actually Do
• Attorney Support: Provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to a team of 5-6 attorneys focusing on IP and general civil litigation matters.
• Court Filings: Prepare, accurately format, and execute state and federal court filings, ensuring proper e-filing procedures and timely service.
• Case Management: Actively monitor crucial legal deadlines and provide essential assistance with the preparation of pleadings, managing discovery processes, and offering critical trial support.
• Document Management: Systematically organize and manage a high volume of legal documents within the firm’s document management system for easy accessibility and retrieval.
• General Support: Deliver additional administrative and litigation support as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of legal workflows for the attorney team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with core domain knowledge in civil litigation, adept at supporting complex legal matters.
• Experience: 3-5+ years of civil litigation experience, with required expertise in state and federal e-filing processes.
• Skills: Strong proficiency in state and federal e-filing systems; excellent organizational and document management abilities; confident, proactive communication and strong professional presence.
• Bonus: Experience in IP or commercial litigation is a plus, as is a stable work history and familiarity with iManage, Intapp, or Chrome River.
