• Mission: This person supports the legal department by performing critical research, drafting essential documents, and assisting with litigation management, ensuring adherence to legal standards and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Drafting: Assist in-house counsel by drafting legal documents, including affidavits, corporate resolutions, subpoena responses, and position statements.
• Litigation Support: Aid in-house counsel in managing litigation matters by gathering and examining documents and exhibits relevant to pending litigations and investigations.
• Legal Analysis: Conduct legal research and analyze legal opinions to determine the applicability of statutes, case law, and rules and regulations to organizational matters.
• Compliance Review: Review documents for compliance with procedural requirements.
• Information Security: Review, ensure, and maintain confidentiality of privileged information and materials provided or disclosed in the course of work.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree in paralegal studies from an accredited school.
• Experience: Not strictly required, as the experience is listed as preferred.
• Skills: Legal research, document drafting, legal analysis, confidentiality management, legal file maintenance.
• Bonus: Two years of experience working in a legal office environment.
