• Mission: To provide comprehensive and diligent administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys, ensuring efficient case management and office operations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Court Filings & Correspondence: Conduct e-filings with state and federal courts and draft essential correspondence to clients.
• Document Management: Assist with the production and formatting of legal documents and meticulously proofread pleadings.
• Financial & Calendar Administration: Enter, review, and revise attorney timesheets, maintain attorney calendars, and prepare client invoices in a timely manner.
• Travel Coordination: Schedule travel arrangements for attorneys and create detailed itinerary reports.
• Trial Preparation: Support trial preparation efforts, including the organization and assembly of necessary binders.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This role requires a specialist level of experience with core domain knowledge in litigation support.
• Experience: 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained within a large law firm environment.
• Skills: Demonstrated diligent attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects, adaptability to changes in workload and responsibilities, and effective communication and written skills.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
