The Litigation Paralegal will play a vital part in managing complex legal processes and upholding the firm’s commitment to clients across New Jersey and federal jurisdictions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Provide comprehensive litigation support and case management for attorneys, efficiently organizing large caseloads.
• Discovery: Oversee all aspects of discovery, including drafting responses, reviewing documents, and managing production.
• Preparation: Prepare all necessary materials for trial, including indexing documents, creating exhibits, and assisting attorneys during proceedings.
• Investigate: Conduct thorough investigation and research to support legal strategies and case development.
• Interact: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, facilitating communication and information gathering.

The Must-Haves
• Background: At least 5 years of dedicated trial and litigation paralegal experience is required, demonstrating proven ability in supporting litigation attorneys. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, along with a solid knowledge of litigation support and case management principles.
• Experience: Expertise in organizing and managing large caseloads, comprehensive experience with discovery processes including drafting and responding, and substantial experience in trial preparation and assisting at trial. Familiarity with the New Jersey and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure is essential.
• Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, strong written communication skills, effective problem-solving capabilities, and the proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks from various attorneys. Proficiency in Microsoft suite, PDF programs, iManage, and Chromeriver is essential.
• Bonus: An ABA approved Paralegal certificate and experience with QuickCreate are considered advantageous.
