The Tone:
This is a full-time role with hybrid work-from-home and in-office flexibility at Flynn Group. The company has grown from eight Applebee’s in 1999 to become the largest restaurant franchise operator in the United States, managing over 2,400 restaurants across six leading brands and employing more than 75,000 people. This Financial Analyst role is a key position within the Support Center, directly supporting operations leadership for the Wendy’s brand by preparing, analyzing, and interpreting diverse financial and operational data to inform critical business decisions and improve profitability.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Drive financial forecasts and annual budgeting processes, aligning budgets with strategies and gaining consensus from business partners.
• Counsel: Provide financial and analytical advice to guide decision-making for strategic and tactical initiatives across operations, development, and real estate.
• Review: Prepare periodic financial reviews, conducting variance and financial statement analysis, then communicate business drivers and their potential future implications.
• Model: Create financial models and scenarios to inform business planning decisions, including capital deployment, marketing investment, and labor deployment.
• Analyze: Understand market dynamics and the competitive landscape, then conduct analysis to synthesize and summarize implications for the business.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, specializing in corporate financial analysis or public accounting.
• Experience: 5–7 years of experience in a corporate financial analysis and/or public accounting role.
• Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial and operational metrics, strong analytical techniques, effective communication skills, and robust interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence.
• Bonus: A self-starter who is comfortable working with limited direction.
