Real Estate Financial Analysis – Associate | JPMorganChase
The Tone:
This is a full-time Associate role at JPMorganChase. JPMorganChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals. This role is essential in shaping real estate investment decisions and managing branch operations by providing sharp forecasting, capital project reporting, and executive-ready financial insights. You will partner across Finance and Real Estate to uncover drivers, manage risk, and modernize reporting through automation and new tools.
The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career
• Team: Real Estate (Retail) Financial Analysis, part of the Consumer Bank Branch Network (BN) Finance team.
• Mission: Shape investment decisions and manage real estate and branch equipment expenses for over 5k Chase branches.
• Tech Stack: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, SAP/CDGL (or comparable financial systems).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Generate monthly capital project reporting to monitor project timing, cost changes, and impacts to the full-year outlook.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc analysis to support expense forecasting, variance explanations, and decision-making.
• Develop executive-ready materials, such as slide decks, for Finance and Real Estate business reviews.
• Maintain branch count and new-build projections for Budget, risk scenarios, and external communications.
• Perform branch-level and general ledger deep-dive analyses to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or a related role.
• Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, effective time management and prioritization skills.
• Bonus: Proficiency with Essbase and SAP/CDGL (or comparable financial systems) is a plus.
