The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ryman Hospitality Properties, located in Nashville, TN. Ryman Hospitality Properties owns and operates a portfolio of premier hotel and resort properties. This Analyst position is critical to the Asset Management team’s mission of maximizing the value of the company’s hotel portfolio. The role involves deep operational and financial analysis, direct engagement with hotel operators, and developing strategic recommendations for senior leadership, making a direct impact on property performance and company value.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze financial statements: Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct variance and key metrics analysis, and partner with property teams to understand performance drivers.
• Evaluate investment opportunities: Conduct financial modeling and sensitivity analysis to assess ROI and capital investment opportunities, preparing supporting documentation for strategic decisions.
• Recommend strategic adjustments: Analyze performance data to recommend revenue growth and cost reduction strategies, ensuring accountability from on-property teams and Marriott leadership.
• Support budget planning: Contribute to annual operational and capital budget planning processes for the hotel portfolio.
• Deliver presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations for monthly operating reviews, board of directors meetings, and various ad-hoc property initiatives for senior leadership and Investor Relations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Business is required.
• Experience: 2+ years’ experience in financial analysis, asset management, or strategic planning is required.
• Skills: Excellent quantitative, technical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to senior management. Demonstrated ability to diagnose and solve complex problems, strong organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines, and the ability to leverage generative AI tools. Expert knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred, as is previous experience in hotels or relevant hospitality. Other relevant experience in real estate finance, FP&A, private equity, or consulting will also be considered. Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps) is also preferred.
