The Tone:

This role is a key member of the finance organization, supporting core financial planning and analysis activities to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights that support decision-making. The analyst will contribute to improving financial visibility, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Planning: Support the annual operating plan, forecast, and long-range planning processes, including periodic updates and analysis.
• Reporting: Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and business partners.
• Analysis: Analyze actual results versus budget/forecast, identify key variances, and provide clear explanations of performance drivers.
• Close Support: Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis, while maintaining monthly cost trackers.
• Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning, reporting, and data management processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with financial planning or enterprise reporting systems, or experience in large, complex, or highly regulated environments.
