Site Financial Analyst | DHL Supply Chain

What You’ll Actually Do
• Auditing: Audit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained prior to payment processing.
• Contract Execution: Execute daily customer and vendor contract requirements, identifying accessorial activity and ensuring necessary documentation.
• Analytical Support: Provide analytical support to operations personnel, managers, and supervisors across all areas of the operation.
• Reporting Accuracy: Support the Kronos application and its setup to ensure accurate hourly activity reporting.
• Financial Operations: Prepare month-end close accrual and reclass journal entries, reconcile Purchase Orders, and assist with accounts receivable and payable processing.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An Associate’s Degree in business or equivalent two years of work experience, applicable to early career financial or operational roles.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant work experience is required. Basic accounting knowledge, including P&L and balance sheet understanding, is essential.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree in business, some knowledge of Finance or accounting principles, logistics industry experience, and a willingness to travel.
