This is an onsite Project Administrative Assistant position at APTIM, located in Linden, NJ. This role is crucial for providing essential administrative and project support to ensure efficient operations and documentation at a significant environmental remediation project.

• Pay: $22.12–$36.54 hourly
• Team: Supports Site Supervisor, Project Quality Control Manager, and Project Health and Safety Lead.
• Mission: Provides comprehensive administrative, document control, procurement, and record-keeping support for an environmental remediation project forecasted through the end of 2026.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite
What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Control: Manage, file, and retrieve project documents, records, and reports for the remediation project.
• Office Services Coordination: Coordinate and direct various office services, including records maintenance, data entry, and computer spreadsheet generation.
• Procurement & Supplies: Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and assisting with equipment tracking.
• Financial Support: Perform basic bookkeeping work and assist with local record keeping.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project team members, including client representatives and government regulators, to respond to standard requests and ensure project progress documentation.
The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma required.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong communication and customer service skills; ability to work the project schedule of 4 days/week, 10 hours/day.
• Bonus: Previous experience in a construction environment is preferable.
