What You’ll Actually Do
• Analyze: Analyze comprehensive financial data to thoroughly evaluate overall business performance, identify key trends, and explain significant variances from expected outcomes.
• Report: Prepare clear and concise monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reports, presenting crucial information to leadership for strategic decision-making.
• Plan: Actively support the critical budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, contributing to the financial roadmap and strategic direction of the business.
• Support Accounting: Assist with essential month-end close activities, specifically focusing on variance analysis and performing necessary reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Model: Develop and meticulously maintain sophisticated financial models designed to support business planning initiatives and inform strategic decision-making across various departments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, providing a fundamental understanding of financial principles and practices essential for this role.
• Experience: Bring a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in Finance or FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), along with specific experience related to inventory management.
• Skills: Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling, critical for daily tasks and reporting.
• Bonus: Have exposure to PowerBI, indicating familiarity with business intelligence tools which would be a valuable asset.
