What You’ll Actually Do
• Trend Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of financial data segmented by business lines, thoroughly comparing current figures against historical trends to accurately identify significant patterns, variances, and underlying drivers of performance.
• Information Modeling: Design and develop sophisticated financial models capable of translating raw financial data into clear, actionable, and impactful information that supports strategic business insights and decision-making processes.
• P&L Preparation: Provide essential assistance in the comprehensive preparation of Profit & Loss (P&L) statements for various specialized entities, including captive insurance programs, Facultative (FAC) reinsurance arrangements, and distinct business segments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Forecasting Support: Contribute actively to the critical process of forecasting future Profit & Loss components and projecting cash flow, utilizing historical data and various analytical techniques to support future financial planning and resource allocation.
• Data Reconciliation: Conduct thorough analysis and meticulous reconciliation of premium and loss data housed within the IDW system against records in the General Ledger, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency for financial reporting.
