What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models for asset valuation, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning, including NPV, IRR, and cash flow projections.
• Asset Performance Management: Analyze asset performance through variance analysis, trend reporting, and forecasting, recommending corrective actions to improve property performance.
• Investment & Transaction Support: Assist with leasing, financing, acquisition, and disposition analyses, participating in loan document reviews and supporting property sales.
• Budgeting & Investor Relations: Partner with property management, leasing, and accounting teams to develop annual property budgets and assist with investor communications and inquiries.
• Property Oversight & Research: Conduct periodic site visits and property inspections, while also performing market research to assess demand, growth opportunities, risks, and competitive conditions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; early-career professional seeking to build a career in commercial real estate.
• Experience: 0–2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Experience in commercial real estate, asset management, investment analysis, or financial planning; working knowledge of Argus software; familiarity with real estate financial metrics and valuation concepts.
