Analyst II – Financial | Frontier Airlines

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Frontier Airlines, located in Denver, CO. Frontier delivers affordable, convenient, and accessible air travel throughout the U.S. and internationally as a leading ultra-low cost carrier. This role is crucial for delivering timely and accurate financial analysis that supports short- and long-term financial planning, cost reduction, strategic benchmarking, and capital allocation across all areas of the organization, directly contributing to the company’s ‘Low Fares Done Right’ mission.

• Mission: Own recurring and ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic planning, cost reduction, and optimal capital allocation across the organization.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Champion: Champion Frontier’s low-cost philosophy and enhance financial awareness throughout the company.
• Deliver: Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis to finance leadership and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate: Evaluate the financial implications of potential capital projects and develop management recommendations.
• Investigate: Investigate root causes of cost and revenue variances, then propose profit-maximizing resolutions.
• Identify: Identify and size potential revenue and cost opportunities across the organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or another quantitative field.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or related fields, or a commensurate combination of graduate work and relevant experience.
• Skills: Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; advanced understanding of Excel, macros, and data analysis software; strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to structure logical analytical approaches and prioritize analyses.
• Bonus: Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline, prior airline experience, or prior systems experience.
