Actuarial Associate/ Senior Actuarial Associate, Regulatory and Solvency Reporting | AIA

What You’ll Actually Do
• Oversee Solvency Submissions: Ensure all entities submit solvency results regularly to Group Office for consolidation, supporting the overall LCSM reporting process.
• Analyze and Communicate Solvency Data: Provide support on the analysis of LCSM results, communicating findings to supervisors, and updating both internal and external stakeholders on solvency outcomes.
• Develop Reporting Infrastructure: Provide support in developing and enhancing tools, such as templates and consolidation tools, for LCSM reporting, and lead the system implementation for the LCSM reporting basis.
• Support Financial Projections and Regulatory Filings: Perform 3-year projections for the annual budget plan and Group ORSA exercise, write solvency board papers, and support HKRBC and Bermuda solvency position production, year-end filing, and auditing.
• Automate and Monitor Solvency Processes: Monitor solvency movement on a regular basis, streamline and automate actuarial preparation processes for Group solvency reporting, and assist with updating relevant AIA group policies and guidelines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: University / College graduate in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or a relevant subject.
• Experience: At least 3 years’ experience; experience with an insurance company is preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in statistical computer software, proficient in MS Office, and a good command of written and spoken English.
• Bonus: Candidates with less experience may also be considered for the role of Actuarial Associate.
