Senior Manager / Associate Director, Regulatory and Solvency Reporting | AIA

The TL;DR

• Mission: Lead the Group’s HKRBC and/or BMA solvency reporting activities from an actuarial and regulatory reporting perspective.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Leadership: Lead the Group’s HKRBC and/or BMA solvency reporting, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of regulatory submissions and related management reporting.
• Regulatory Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert on regulatory capital and solvency reporting requirements, providing technical guidance and interpreting evolving regulations.
• Compliance Oversight: Oversee compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal governance standards, ensuring robust controls and documentation.
• Process Improvement: Drive strategic enhancements, streamlining, and automation of reporting processes, including system solutions and optimization initiatives.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage interactions with regulators, internal and external auditors, appointed actuaries, and other functions concerning solvency and regulatory matters.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Degree or Master’s holder in actuarial science, finance, accounting, or other business disciplines.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience, particularly in regulatory capital and solvency reporting.
• Skills: Good progress in Actuarial professional examinations, excellent command of written and spoken English, and strong analytical skills for solvency results.
• Bonus: Experience with a multi-national company is preferred, and candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Manager role.
