Investment Banking Analyst/Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) | PKF O’Connor Davies

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at PKF Investment Banking, located in the NY Tri-State Area with a hybrid work model. • Mission: Assume significant responsibilities related to pitching for and executing middle-market sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for a diverse group of industries.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial and valuation models and other key financial analyses.
• Presentation Support: Support the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and other marketing documents.
• Market Research: Conduct industry research to identify key trends, potential buyers, and acquisition targets.
• Due Diligence: Facilitate due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams, other advisors, and clients.
• Deal Coordination: Coordinate and manage various aspects of deal execution from origination to closure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 4-year degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or MBA from a top-tier business school.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Services work experience, with no exceptions.
• Skills: Effective communication skills (both written and verbal), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, financial modeling experience, strong project management skills, and strong attention to detail.
• Bonus: Series 63 and 79 licenses, willingness and ability to travel as needed.
