Program Financial Analyst I | Ultra Maritime
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ultra Maritime, located in Columbia City, IN. Ultra Maritime develops sonar and radar systems and advances unmanned and undersea platforms that empower the U.S. Navy and allied forces. Your work in this role supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities within a program-based manufacturing environment. This position contributes to safeguarding the seas and strengthening navies worldwide through effective financial management of naval technology programs.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Reporting: Assist with monthly revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for assigned programs.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze actual costs against budgets and forecasts, identifying trends and potential risks.
• Dashboard Creation: Prepare and maintain program financial reports, metrics, and dashboards.
• Projection Support: Assist in developing Estimates at Completion (EACs) and long-range financial projections.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional project teams including program management, operations, supply chain, and engineering.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 0 to 4 years of experience.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines; ability to manage independent programs.
• Bonus: Exposure to ERP systems such as Epicor.
