• Mission: Provide on-the-job training to contribute to accounting and financial processes within the petroleum industry.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Document Analysis: Analyze and process business documents related to petroleum industry operations.
• Financial Reporting: Analyze accounting and financial data to prepare accurate financial statement journal entries.
• Account Reconciliation: Prepare general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
• Compliance Testing: Test SOX and Non-SOX controls as part of auditing procedures.
• Budgetary Support: Assist in the preparation of budgets for various departments and collaborate with outside departments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring concurrent enrollment in a bachelor’s degree (or higher) seeking program for the duration of the experience. An Accounting major is required.
• Experience: Strong academic performance is expected. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Skills: Ability to analyze business documents and financial data, prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and contribute to tax information preparation.
• Bonus: Military experience is a plus for candidates.
