The TL;DR

• Mission: Lead M&A transactions and client relationships end-to-end, contributing to the firm’s growth and deal pipeline.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Management: Oversee buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions from initial strategy development through final close.
• Client Advisory: Act as the primary trusted advisor for client relationships throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
• Team Leadership: Drive deal teams by directing analysis, setting strategic direction, and developing team members.
• Business Development: Initiate and pursue business opportunities that contribute to the firm’s future growth and direction.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-Career to Senior: Expertise in investment banking, M&A advisory, transaction advisory, or corporate finance.
• Experience: 5+ years in relevant fields with a proven track record of successfully completing complex deals.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities; ability to lead discussions effectively; skilled in client relationship management; capable of mentoring a team.
• Bonus: Series 79 or 82 certification.
