• Mission: Translate business objectives into Enterprise Supply Chain requirements and develop end-to-end operational plans for execution across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery functions.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Planning: Translate overarching business goals and divisional strategies into clear, actionable Enterprise Supply Chain requirements, subsequently developing comprehensive, end-to-end operational plans for effective execution in collaboration with planning, sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery functions.
• Process Improvement Leadership: Take the initiative to identify, prioritize, and lead Division-specific improvement projects that span the entire supply chain, from initial planning and sourcing to manufacturing and final delivery, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Performance Optimization: Determine the necessary actions and initiatives to significantly improve key performance indicators such as service levels, product quality, cost efficiency, cash flow management, and supply chain reliability across all stages of the Plan, Source, Make, and Deliver framework.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Collaborate with both Division and Enterprise Supply Chain resources to actively manage the entire product lifecycle, from introduction to obsolescence, striving for portfolio excellence and ensuring optimal resource allocation and market responsiveness.
• New Product Introduction Support: Partner closely with Division and Enterprise Supply Chain technical leaders throughout the critical phases of New Product Introductions, specifically contributing to development, successful scale-up, and market launch to ensure seamless integration into the supply chain.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution is required, serving as the foundational academic qualification for this managerial role. The position specifically targets professionals with a strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations.
• Experience: Candidates must bring a minimum of seven (7) years of combined experience within a manufacturing or supply chain environment, obtained in either private, public, government, or military sectors. Additionally, at least three (3) years of this experience must have been in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Skills: Key capabilities for success include strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information and drive alignment across diverse teams, as well as proven change management skills to lead and implement new processes and initiatives. Deep understanding of Plan, Source, Make, Deliver frameworks is essential for this role.
• Bonus: Further enhance your application with previous experience in production, operations, or value stream/product management, which would provide valuable practical insight. Strong financial acumen is also highly beneficial for understanding cost implications and driving economic efficiencies within supply chain operations.
