The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deutsche Bank, located in Bangalore, India. Deutsche Bank’s Investment Bank and Cross Product Operations (IBCPO) provides transaction, reporting, and cash management services to its multi-asset global businesses. The bank is undergoing a significant transformation of its front-to-back operations, with IBCPO being one of its top three transformation agendas. This role is crucial for leading and driving these front-to-back redesign initiatives, ensuring standardization, digital transformation, and operational excellence across the Corporate Bank Operations.

• Team: Investment Bank and Cross Product Operations (IBCPO), reporting to the India Head of Investment Bank and Cross Product F2B Operations.
• Mission: Lead front-to-back redesign initiatives and drive continuous improvement across Corporate Bank Operations, focusing on standardization, digital transformation, and operational excellence to support Deutsche Bank’s transformation agenda.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Transformation: Lead front-to-back redesign initiatives across Corporate Bank Operations, with a focus on standardization, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
• Process Engineering: Establish and contribute to Centers of Excellence for process re-engineering, Lean/Six-Sigma driven optimization, automation, and data/analytics.
• Change Delivery: Partner with product, technology, and operational leads to deliver global transformation programs with strong governance and robust risk controls.
• Solution Design: Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process maps, and functional specifications, translating business requirements into actionable solutions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively collaborate across IB business lines, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Control functions to uplift client experience and enhance control maturity.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-senior level professional with 8-12 years of experience driving transformation within complex banking environments. Requires strong experience in Investment Banking F2B Transformation, including end-to-end transformation across Cross Product Operations’ products, operating models, and processes.
• Experience: Expertise in product domains such as Regulatory Reporting, Corporate Action, Fund Accounting, Collateral, Treasury, Tax, Capital Market, Middle Office, Derivatives, Trade lifecycle, Cash Management, Trust and Agency Services, Trade Finance and Lending, and Security Services. Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders and maintain alignment across multiple business, functional, and regional constituencies.
• Skills: Expertise in process re-engineering, automation, or transformation. Strategic and influential mindset with critical problem-solving skills, able to think both tactically and strategically. Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve target deadlines.
• Bonus: Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
