IB Vice President – Aerospace & Defense | Stifel Financial Corp.
The Tone:
This is a Vice President role at Stifel Financial Corp., located in New York. This role is crucial for leading complex financial transactions within the Aerospace & Defense sector, contributing to client relationships, business development, and the overall success of the investment banking team and the firm.

• Pay: $250,000 yearly
• Team: Investment Banking team focused on Aerospace & Defense
• Mission: Lead complex financial transactions and serve as a trusted advisor to clients in the Aerospace & Defense sector to deliver financial solutions and drive business growth.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Transaction Execution: Lead the execution of M&A, recapitalizations, and capital raises (debt and equity) transactions.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing relationships and delivering financial solutions.
• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Oversee the development of detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and presentations.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Business & Sector Growth: Contribute to business development by identifying new client opportunities and building sector expertise.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree; Vice President-level expertise in Investment Banking with a focus on Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of investment banking experience, including running sell-side M&A transactions.
• Skills:
• Transaction execution (M&A, recapitalizations, debt and equity capital raises).
• Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and presentation development.
• Client relationship management, advisory, and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Solid analytical skills to identify complex problems and implement solutions.
• Required FINRA licenses: SIE, Series 79, Series 63.
