What You’ll Actually Do
• Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations related to Title IX and Title V compliance, ensuring adherence to legal and institutional standards.
• Case Resolution: Address student conduct issues and recommend appropriate actions to resolve cases effectively.
• Supportive Measures: Implement supportive measures during investigations to safeguard the rights and well-being of all involved parties.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with HR teams, college administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and compliance.
• Documentation: Draft detailed reports, legal documents, and findings based on investigative outcomes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Holds a Juris Doctor (JD) degree; recent law school graduates pending the Bar exam are encouraged to apply.
• Experience: This is an entry-level position focused on legal support within a higher education compliance framework.
• Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism; meticulous demeanor.
• Bonus: Prior experience with client intake, legal aid, Title IX, and/or Title V regulations.
