What You’ll Actually Do
• Modeling: Develop financial models through benchmarking and process analysis to project financial outcomes.
• Forecasting: Forecast quarterly and annual profitability and prepare cost projections across multiple business lines, including entity-level P&L reporting.
• Budgeting: Drive budgeting and planning exercises, partner with department heads on budget-to-actual reviews, and conduct monthly re-forecasting.
• Metric Tracking: Track applicable SaaS metrics for the business, including Annualized Recurring Revenue, Gross and Net Revenue Retention, churn, growth decomposition, CLTV/CAC, and Rule of 40.
• Reporting: Explore investment options, including M&A, present associated risks and opportunities, and support the preparation of monthly and quarterly Board and leadership reporting packages.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career Financial Analyst with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, possessing a baseline understanding of GAAP and differential accounting.
• Experience: At least 2 years of proven work experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar financial role.
• Skills: Expertise in MS Excel, including Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data modeling for large datasets; strong analytical capabilities; and the ability to build, update, and present financial data using forecasting models, detailed reports, and charts.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SaaS business models and metrics, demonstrable strategic thinking skills, and experience with accounting, financial planning, or operational systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
