Litigation Support Analyst | DLA Piper

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at DLA Piper, located in any US office with a hybrid work schedule. This role is crucial for assisting attorneys with computerized support to manage, organize, research, analyze, argue, and present cases in a cost and time efficient manner. It serves as the backbone for strategic litigation initiatives, supporting the firm’s core legal efforts.

• Team: Works with project managers and case teams, reporting to a Litigation Support Project Manager and/or Regional Manager.
• Mission: To provide essential computerized support for litigation matters, enabling attorneys to manage, organize, and present cases with greater cost and time efficiency.
• Tech Stack: Relativity, Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap, Sanction, Clearwell, electronic evidence, large-scale printing, document repositories, extranet technologies.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Support: Assist with managing cases and projects across various stages of the litigation process.
• Data Platform Management: Create and support databases, including user accounts, access, review layouts, and search assistance for data review platforms.
• ESI Processing & Production: Process Electronically Stored Information (ESI) for upload into data review platforms, generate data productions, and perform quality control.
• Trial Technology: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, set up electronic equipment in the courtroom, and provide in-court assistance as required.
• Advanced Data Analysis: Process ESI through sophisticated technology applications like Clearwell for data analysis, and assist with data import, export, and manipulation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 2 years in litigation technology support, including the installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications such as Relativity, Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap, and Sanction, with experience in electronic evidence, large-scale printing, document repositories, and extranet technologies.
• Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage complex projects with tight deadlines, demonstrated proficiency in the entire litigation support process (database management, searching, reporting, scanning, coding, electronic discovery management, document production, and trial support), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment in high-stress situations.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
