Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A | Bausch + Lomb

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Planning: Support the annual operating plan, forecast, and long-range planning processes, including periodic updates and analysis, while partnering with stakeholders to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management, analyzing actual results against budget/forecast to identify key variances and performance drivers.
• Month-End Activities: Support month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis, while maintaining monthly cost trackers for accuracy and alignment with financial reporting.
• Business Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and other business functions to provide analytical support that drives informed decision-making for partners.
• Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities to improve planning, reporting, and data management processes, supporting system enhancements, automation, and standardization initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solid understanding of financial statements, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience with financial planning or enterprise reporting systems, and experience in large, complex, or highly regulated environments.
