Accounting & Finance Intern | NetGain Technologies, LLC

This is a part-time internship at NetGain Technologies, LLC, offering a hybrid work arrangement. This role is crucial for supporting the company’s financial operations, including managing accounting transactions, contributing to the monthly close process, and assisting with financial analysis. The internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to real-world accounting practices and make a measurable impact on business outcomes.
The TL;DR

• Type: Part-time (approximately 20 hours per week)

• Team: Accounting and Finance team, partnering with the CFO
• Mission: Support key financial operations by managing recurring accounting transactions, contributing to the monthly close process, and assisting with financial analysis.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Business Central accounting software
What You’ll Actually Do
• Cash Management: Post and reconcile daily cash receipts to ensure accurate financial records.
• Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable transactions with precision and timeliness.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP) reconciliations.
• Financial Analysis: Partner with the CFO on margin, profitability, and performance analysis.
• Month-End Close: Contribute to the month-end close process and assist with financial reporting.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong academic foundation in accounting principles and financial analysis. This is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Hands-on experience with accounting systems. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Business Central accounting software.
