This is a full-time role at Goldman Sachs, located in Dallas, TX. This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s Asset & Wealth Management Private businesses by managing the valuation process and analyzing, budgeting, and projecting their financial performance. The successful candidate will play a key part in realizing clients’ potential and contributing to sustainable success within a culture that values integrity and transparency.

• Mission: Assist in the monthly/quarterly valuation and budgeting processes for Goldman Sachs’ long-term principal investing activities.
• Tech Stack: Excel, PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Valuation: Determine and support appropriate fair market values across multiple investing disciplines and geographies.
• Forecasting: Prepare and maintain multi-year departmental revenue, balance sheet, and other risk metric forecasts involving multiple investment strategies.
• Due Diligence: Maintain working knowledge of significant investments and their forecasting assumptions.
• Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the valuation and budgeting processes.
• Analysis: Respond to ad hoc requests and prepare analyses as needed by the division.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business discipline; strong understanding of capital and debt markets.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), strong coordination and organizational skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Ability to work independently in a a small team, exhibit initiative, be proactive, and demonstrate a willingness to assist in areas not explicitly related to primary job duties.
