• Mission: To plan, develop, and coordinate the preparation of financial analyses and reports to assess the viability of long-range strategic and financial plans and programs, with a primary focus on post-award financial activities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Modeling & Projections: Develop projections and design, develop, and modify financial forecasting models and simulations for programs.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Accumulate, review, and analyze data from existing databases for financial reports, conducting technical research on relevant topics.
• Strategic Planning Support: Plan, develop, and coordinate the preparation of financial analyses and reports to assess the viability of long-range strategic and financial plans and programs.
• Regulatory Impact Assessment: Analyze the financial effects of proposed federal and state statutes and regulatory actions which may impact long-range financial planning.
• Post-Award Financial Management: Perform primarily post-award financial activities, including monitoring results from program and project implementation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Skills:
• Financial Analysis (Intermediate): Evaluating businesses, projects, and budgets to determine performance, stability, and profitability.
• Project Management (Intermediate): Planning, organizing, and managing resources for the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.
• Problem Solving (Intermediate): Applying critical thinking and process improvement to describe current state, identify root causes, and develop solutions.
• Written Communication (Intermediate): Writing clear, detailed, and comprehensive status reports, memos, and documentation.
• Communication of Results (Intermediate): Communicating results and recommendations in a concise, non-technical format, stating implications and next steps, using appropriate data visualization and presentation tools.
