Equity Capital Markets (ECM) Syndicate Analyst | Stifel Financial Corp.

This role is crucial for assisting clients in raising funds through equity capital markets and coordinating the sale and distribution of underwritten offerings. The analyst acts as a strategic advisor, facilitating capital formation in the equity market for both corporate and investor clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Support: Assist clients in raising capital through IPO, Follow-on, Convertible, and Private Placement offerings.
• Deal Execution: Coordinate the sale and distribution of underwritten offerings across the Institutional Equities Group’s Sales, Trading, and Research functions.
• Strategic Advising: Advise on business development and data analytics for the ECM / Syndicate team.
• Investor Engagement: Market transactions to institutional investors and equity sales, discussing company valuation, deal structure, and terms.
• Market Analysis: Conduct economic/financial research and produce market commentary for global corporate clients.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level professional with a foundational understanding of capital markets or investment banking.
• Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in syndicate, capital markets, investment banking, or sales and trading functions.
• Skills: Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication, meticulous attention to detail, and a curious learning mindset. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment is also essential.
• Bonus: Possess or be able to obtain Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses within six months of hire.
