Executive Director, Tech-Strategy & Partnerships, Data & AI | JPMorgan Chase

The Tone:
This is a key leadership role within Global Technology at JPMorgan Chase. JPMC’s Global Technology group is a world-class team that designs, builds, and deploys a wide variety of high-quality products and solutions across 20+ technology centers globally. This role is instrumental in shaping JPMC’s firmwide technology strategy, fostering innovation, and aligning external technology advancements with JPMC’s strategic objectives to transform financial services and beyond.

What You’ll Actually Do
Strategy Leadership: Help drive the overarching firmwide technology strategy across JPMorgan Chase.
Ecosystem Engagement: Build and maintain best-in-class collaborative relationships with technology vendors and the emerging technology ecosystem, including the venture capital community, to influence partner roadmaps and JPMC’s strategy.
Innovation & Adoption: Drive innovation across JPMC and ensure the firm maximizes the business benefits of adopting market-leading advanced technology capabilities.
Stakeholder Influence: Influence senior business and technology stakeholders across JPMC to ensure execution on a coordinated firmwide strategy, with new innovations rapidly evaluated, piloted, and then scaled firmwide where appropriate.
Strategic Alignment: Build internal awareness of Data and AI opportunities, support JPMC client-facing business development activities, and partner with the Strategic Investments team on private company investments that strategically align to JPMC’s technology initiatives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive-level experience in technology strategy, partnerships, and innovation, specifically within Data and AI domains. Extensive knowledge and exposure to the external Cloud and Infrastructure Partner Ecosystem.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years relevant experience with a leading technology company in a product-related role, a top-tier consulting firm, or an internal consulting/corporate strategy team, including at least 1 year of managerial experience leading teams. Additionally, 3+ years of experience working closely with external technology companies in the Cloud and Infrastructure domain. Demonstrated track record of driving strategy, partnerships, and innovation.
• Skills: Strong relationship and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with senior internal and external executives. Possess a customer-first approach, a growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning, and a high ability to solve complex problems by navigating internal and external organizational structures. Demonstrated executive presence and excellent communication skills, including the ability to distill feedback, provide actionable insights, present, and write effectively. Extensive technical breadth at an enterprise customer level with Artificial Intelligence, Data Platforms, and Cyber, coupled with technical depth in multiple areas of AI and Data.
• Bonus: Financial services background is preferred.
