What You’ll Actually Do
• Analysis: Perform extensive financial and valuation analyses to assess debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions.
• Modeling: Build advanced financial models to value potential and actual clients or industries, applying a broad understanding of finance and accounting.
• Due Diligence: Lead due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation for potential and live transactions, proactively identifying potential issues.
• Presentations: Actively participate in developing presentations and testing hypotheses to highlight financial analysis and research outcomes.
• Client Engagement: Develop, produce, and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, showcasing a comprehensive knowledge of investment banking solutions.
The Must-Haves
• Background: MBA Degree required with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027, with a deep understanding of accounting and finance.
• Experience: Must obtain SIE Exam prior to employment, and Series 79 and Series 63 within 90 days of employment.
• Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities, excellent mathematical, writing, verbal, and computer skills, and effective leadership and coaching skills.
• Bonus: Internship or prior work experience in the financial services industry preferred, along with a strong desire to succeed, sound judgment, and a commitment to satisfying customers.
