• Team: Valuation Consulting Services team, collaborating with Transaction Advisory and Outsourced Accounting Advisory teams.
• Mission: Assist companies with business valuations, M&A transactions, financial reporting, and other strategic advisory services.
• Tech Stack: Excel-based valuation models
What You’ll Actually Do
• Prepare: Assist in the preparation of business valuation analyses for mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax, and advisory purposes.
• Support: Support valuation engagements involving privately held companies, intangible assets, and transaction-related analyses.
• Analyze: Complete financial statement and operating data analysis using Excel-based valuation models.
• Research: Conduct industry, market, economic, and company-specific research.
• Participate: Participate in client meetings, internal discussions, training sessions, professional development programs, and networking opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Financial Engineering, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. Entry-Level. Minimum 3.7 GPA required.
• Experience: Previous internship or relevant experience in valuation, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, consulting, or financial services preferred.
• Skills: Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling; excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills with the ability to excel in client-facing environments.
• Bonus: Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and professional presence through academic, extracurricular, or work experience; candidates should be prepared to complete a finance and valuation case study during the interview process.
