Fall 2026/Spring 2027 Law Intern | State Farm

The Tone:
This is an internship at State Farm, located in Tempe, AZ. The TL;DR

• Team: Alexis M. Farley & Associates, Claims Litigation Counsel office
• Mission: To defend State Farm and its customers who have been sued, gaining real-world civil litigation skills.
• Tech Stack: Lexis (preferred familiarity)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Project Work: Work with attorneys on assigned projects within the Claims Litigation Counsel office.
• Case Observation: Attend case events to observe various aspects of civil litigation.
• Litigation Process: Observe every phase of the litigation process from start to finish.
• Mentoring: Benefit from mentoring to gain a balanced and realistic understanding of Claims Litigation Counsel functions.
• Skill Development: Develop real-world civil litigation skills through hands-on experience and observation.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Rising 3L student enrolled in an ABA accredited law school. Intern must remain enrolled for the duration of the internship.
• Experience: Familiarity with Lexis is preferred.
• Skills: Strong research skills, strong written communication skills, and strong verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Strong academic credentials.
