Strategy and Management Summer Analyst Program – 2027 | Bank of America

The Tone:
This is a 10-week summer internship at Bank of America, located primarily in Charlotte, NC, with limited availability in Boston, MA, and New York, NY. Bank of America is a large financial services firm guided by a purpose to make financial lives better through Responsible Growth, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, and investing in its teammates. This program offers an exclusive preview of a two-year development program designed to prepare future corporate leaders by providing direct experience in Digital Technologies, FinTech, Strategy, Innovation, and Management within the Bank of America Strategy & Business Ventures team. This role matters as it contributes to driving strategic growth initiatives across core business units and developing new strategies to better serve clients.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Understand: Build an in-depth understanding of the business, client needs, and opportunities by gaining exposure to senior leaders and supporting high-priority strategic initiatives across various functions.
• Influence: Contribute to an organization that drives initiatives with the potential to shape industries, leveraging the company’s wide reach and expertise.
• Collaborate: Work with diverse, high-performing project teams to develop strategic recommendations alongside key internal leaders.
• Execute: Test, launch, and operationalize new capabilities as part of strategic recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a bachelor’s or bachelor’s direct to master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation timeframe between November 2027 and August 2028.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required.
• Skills: Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills, creativity, listening, communication, and presentation skills; strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Appreciates an environment that supports learning, innovation, intelligent risk-taking, integrity, and flexibility; builds and nurtures strong relationships, while collaborating to get things done.
• Bonus: 3.2 minimum GPA preferred. Pursuing a major area of study which includes but is not limited to: Business Management, Economics, Finance, Consulting, Mathematics, Data Analysis, FinTech, Marketing. Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative research. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Excel.
