What You’ll Actually Do
• Report Preparation: Assist with and prepare a variety of cost reports, financial statements, and/or tax returns, depending on the assigned department.
• Data Analysis: Analyze and review financial data for a diverse range of industries and situations.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients and network effectively with Citrin Cooperman accounting professionals.
• Firm Familiarization: Become familiar with the Firm’s policies and procedures relevant to accounting practice.
• General Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and firm operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position for individuals currently pursuing or having obtained a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting.
• Experience: Prior involvement in extracurricular activities or work experience, with a requirement to take the school semester off (January to April) to meet workload and learning opportunities (minimum 35 hours/week).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and a clear passion for accuracy in all tasks; excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams; robust organizational skills and effective time management to handle diverse assignments; proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion; and the capacity to interact professionally and effectively with clients and employees across all levels of the Firm.
