Corporate Paralegal | Company

The Tone:
This role provides administrative and operational support for the company’s regulatory compliance function. This Corporate Paralegal position is critical for maintaining that adherence, ensuring accurate and timely regulatory submissions and documentation. The role contributes directly to the company’s robust compliance standards and its ability to operate effectively within the regulated insurance market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• SERFF Filings Support: Support SERFF filings by tracking submission status, maintaining redlined documents, and organizing all necessary supporting documentation.
• Compliance Documentation: Maintain comprehensive compliance documentation, including updating Confluence pages, State Information Guides, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes.
• Regulatory Project Coordination: Create and manage tickets for tracking regulatory changes, facilitating form updates, and coordinating compliance-related projects.
• Insurance Form Updates: Accurately update insurance forms based on approved compliance specifications received from relevant teams.
• Compliance Deadline Management: Maintain the compliance calendar, actively monitor upcoming regulatory deadlines, and provide timely reminders to relevant stakeholders.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, Paralegal Certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience as a Paralegal with relevant experience supporting compliance functions.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
• Bonus: Experience supporting regulatory, legal, insurance, or compliance functions; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, SERFF, or similar project management and compliance systems.
