What You’ll Actually Do
• Report Generation: Generate new business conflicts of interest reports according to departmental procedures, using specialized software and online research tools.
• Procedural Adherence: Maintain a working knowledge of all department standard operating procedures and understand the workflow for conflicts requests.
• Principle Application: Apply basic conflicts of interest principles as instructed by the National Conflicts Manager and Conflicts Attorneys to daily tasks.
• Assignment Management: Demonstrate sound judgment in organizing and prioritizing assignments in relation to both firm and departmental priorities.
• Data Analysis: Interpret, analyze, compile, review, filter, synthesize, and determine logical conclusions or recommendations based on varied data and information for conflicts search results.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, coupled with familiarity with legal terminology used for common business structures.
• Experience: At least three years of experience in conflicts within a law firm setting, including proficiency with relational conflicts databases such as Intapp Open or LegalKey.
• Skills: Proficiency in online corporate research databases like Dun & Bradstreet and Capital IQ, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Bonus: Experience working with PDF software.
