The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BTIG, located in New York, NY. This Associate position is central to day-to-day deal execution, developing board-level materials, and coordinating across internal and external stakeholders to drive successful client outcomes. What You’ll Actually Do
• Deal Execution: Support transaction execution across private capital and M&A advisory mandates, including process management, diligence coordination, and client deliverables.
• Financial Modeling: Build, maintain, and audit financial models, including operating models, valuation analyses (DCF, public comps, precedent transactions), and transaction/returns scenarios.
• Material Development: Develop board-level and executive-level discussion materials, such as strategic alternatives presentations, transaction updates, valuation support, and key decision frameworks.
• Marketing Preparation: Prepare and refine marketing and transaction materials like teasers, confidential information memorandums (CIMs), management presentations, and investor outreach materials with high accuracy and polish.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with clients and third parties (legal, accounting, consultants) to support information flow, diligence requests, and overall transaction momentum.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An undergraduate degree in finance or economics, with strong accounting fundamentals and financial statement analysis skills.
• Experience: 3+ years of Investment Banking or Equity Research experience, with transaction experience across private growth capital and M&A advisory.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced financial modeling capabilities, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and strong analytical, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills with superior attention to detail.
• Bonus: CFA is highly preferred.
