• Mission: This person supports litigation teams by performing a variety of tasks related to case management, discovery, and trial.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Case Management: Assist in maintaining and organizing comprehensive case files and documents.
• Document Review: Review and organize case correspondence and pleadings for litigation teams.
• Data Tracking: Accurately track and input data into various case management logs.
• Court Support: Assist with court filings, prepare the court’s courtesy copies, and schedule court reporters for hearings and depositions.
• Trial Preparation: Create document binders for litigation teams and provide direct support at trial.
• Administrative Assistance: Cover receptionist breaks as needed to ensure continuous office operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Completion of college-level education, enabling the reading and writing of English at a proficient level, with core domain knowledge in litigation support.
• Experience: Mandatory 1+ years of relevant litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience.
• Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and meticulous attention to detail.
