This Finance Intern role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial analysis and supporting key business decisions that drive DuPont’s global objectives and operational excellence.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting & Analysis: Conduct monthly financial reporting and analysis to assess business performance, provide insights, and support forecasting.
• Process Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at streamlining and standardizing financial processes across different work streams.
• Decision Support: Provide financial assistance for complex business decisions, involving data mining and trend analysis.
• System Engagement: Utilize and gain practical experience with various business software and systems applications.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic major in Finance or Accounting. Candidates must possess an understanding of core finance and accounting concepts and principles.
• Experience: Not explicitly requiring prior professional experience; this position is open to current full-time students.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in desktop software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong communication abilities. Self-starter with the capability to coordinate and prioritize various assignments effectively. Ability to research and analyze financial information, enjoying a heavy data and analysis component. Capacity to interact effectively as a team player and complete assignments responsibly and independently.
• Bonus: A minor in MIS or a double major. A GPA of 3.0 or greater. Rising Senior or rising Junior student status. Familiarity with SAP software.
